Bringing Home a CT Doodle

If you are interested in bringing home your own Colby Trail Doodle, here is how.

To reserve your spot, please fill out an application form and answer the questions as honestly as possible as we value the trustworthy relationships with our Colby Trail Doodle families. Once we look over your application, usually within a few days, we will reach out to you to schedule an over the phone interview and go over all the details of getting a Colby Trail Doodle puppy and answer any questions you may have. The phone interview does not necessarily mean we have accepted your application, we reserve the right to deny any applicants if we feel we will not be a good fit for what they are looking for.

When your application has been reviewed and accepted, you will receive an email welcoming you to the Colby Trail Doodle Family. If you are ready to move forward and reserve a spot for one of our upcoming litters, the next step is the reservation fee of $500. This reservation fee will hold your place on the master waitlist so you don’t lose your spot. The reservation fee goes toward the final price of the puppy and the remaining balance is due when the puppies are 6 weeks of age. We accept Zelle, Venmo or Cash.

Once we approve your application now it’s time to wait. We can not guarantee wait times as some things are out of our control like heat cycles, gender, litter size and colors. We will keep you updated at all times through the entire process, heats, confirmed breedings , confirmed pregnancy etc. Puppy picks are chosen in order of the reservation fees received from the master waitlist, and made at 7 weeks once we complete the puppy evaluations.

We understand some people may have certain preferences in color, size, coat and gender, if your puppy of choice is not in a specific litter, you can choose to move your deposit to a future litter. Please understand that you may wait longer for your puppy if you have particular traits you are looking for as it is in Mother Nature’s hands. When a family passes on their litter spot, it will bump the next family ahead on the waitlist, making it always subject to change. All puppies are ready to go home to their forever family at 8 weeks of age.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND-

– Moms and Dads have been fully health and genetic tested and all puppies are raised on an advanced puppy curriculum.

⁃ We reserve the right to hold the first 1-2 spots in a litter for our program.

⁃ Breeding rights are extra and will be considered on a case by case basis.
